- The Disability Rights Activist. Brings together much of the information needed to enable anyone interested in the rights of people with disabilities to work for those rights.
- National Rehabilitation Information Center. The National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC) is a library and information center on disability and rehabilitation. Funded since 1979 by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), NARIC collects and disseminates the results of federally funded research projects. NARIC's document collection, which also includes commercially published books, journal articles, and audiovisuals, grows at a rate of 250 new documents per month.
ACCESSIBILITY AND BARRIER-FREE DESIGN
- The Trace Center. The Trace Center is a Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center located at the Waisman Center and the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Trace is one of the network of Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers supported by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) of the U.S. Department of Education.
- The Center on Human Policy. The Center on Human Policy (CHP) is a Syracuse University based policy, research, and advocacy organization involved in the national movement to insure the rights of people with disabilities.
- The Center for Universal Design. The Center is a national research, information, and technical assistance center that evaluates, develops, and promotes accessible and universal design in buildings and related products.
WEB DESIGN FOR USERS WITH DISABILITIES
- Designing assessible Web sites. Design of HTML pages to increase their accessibility to users with disabilities.

- Quick Guide to Services for Persons with Disabilities. Services in the Thomas Jefferson Planning District, covering the City of Charlottesville and the Counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson.
